AWANA
We are getting geared up for Awana to start this Fall. Can you believe it’s just over one week away! Yes, Awana starts Wednesday, September 8.
Wednesday Evening
The Choir is meeting in the large auditorium, adults meet in the hallway classroom, older youth meet in the large youth room, and middle school youth meet in the library. Meeting times for summer begin at 6:30 P.M. and end at 8:00 P.M.
New Ladies Bible Study
Friday mornings at 10 A.M. beginning September 10 at the home of Ruth Brown. Ruth says, “The study will be for eight weeks with the goal of going verse by verse through the exciting books of I and II Thessalonians. This book is so rich and so time appropriate. I can't wait to get going!”
Help for Haiti
Our missions committee is looking to assemble a team to go to Haiti through a Christian humanitarian organization (such as, Samaritan’s Purse.) If you are interested in offering your skills, please take a moment to put your name in the sign-up book in the foyer. This is an interest only list and will give us an idea of who may be able to volunteer their time. Contacts: Steve or Danine Gruber.
Biblical Education:
Pastor Tom and Pastor Carl have started a new school of biblical studies for anyone considering an in-depth study of God’s word or developing skills useful for Christian ministry. To sign up or if you have any questions? Contact the church office.

Yokefellows … weekly Yokefellows meetings will resume in the Fall.
Young Marrieds … meet every Tuesday evening at 6:30 P.M. for Bible Study. For info call the Fenimores at 232-7714 or the del Pilars at 346-6103. The study meets at the church.
Salt & Light Discipleship Groups ...Ladies: Fridays from 4 — 6 P.M. at Trish Kiloh’s home. All ladies are invited. Contact Trish Kiloh at 688-6000 or Danine Gruber at 754-9754 for more information. Men’s: Thursdays from 7:00 -- 8:30 P.M. here at the church and lead by Steve Gruber. Contact Steve at 754-9754 if you have any questions.
Wednesday Evening … Summer schedule: Adult & older youth classes start at 6:30 P.M. every Wednesday, and we will have a "Family Connect" time twice a month which will start at 6:30 P.M. as well.

Choir Practice
Everyone is welcome even if you have no experience. We will be meeting on Wednesday evenings from 6:30—8:00 P.M. over the summer. Nursery workers are needed as well! Questions, contact Chrissie Zoucha at 799-6995.

Come by and check out our library! We have a wonderful selection of books and DVD's. Books may be checked out for two weeks and DVD's and videos for one week. We are missing some books and DVD's, so please check your home for CBC library items to return. Help us be good stewards of God's blessings.
