Community Bible Church

At Community Bible Church in Brooksville AWANA Clubs are open to boys and girls  2 years old through the 8th Grade.  AWANA Clubbers meet from 6:00 - 7:30 P.M. on Wednesdays during the school year to learn about the Bible and to have fun!

The weekly meetings are broken down into 3 segments:

• Handbook Time (Scripture memorization)
• Disciple Town (Bible lesson & music)
• Game Time (team games)

Handbook Time is shared in a small group with a leader assigned to the group to explain and record progress through the handbook.  Each age group uses their booklets to complete one or two sections per week.

Children earn awards including a uniform, patches, pins & AWANA bucks for accomplishments in the Handbook.  AWANA bucks are spent at the AWANA Store. Theme nights are planned at least once every month with an occasional special event.

For nearly 60 years Awana has been a leader in children's ministry, helping churches and parents worldwide raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ.  The founders of Awana derived the Awana name from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as read in 2 Timothy 2:15 in the Bible.
